You may request our Data Security Policy by emailing:
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
How we use web beacons
We use web beacons in some of our emails.
When we send some emails we may decide to track behaviour such as who opened the emails and who clicked the links. This allows us to measure the performance of our email campaigns and to improve our approach for specific segments of our database. To do this, we include single pixel gifs, also called web beacons, in emails we send.
Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details. We use the data from those Web Beacons to create reports about how our email performed and what actions you took.
Data we collect from use of our mobile apps
When you use our mobile apps, we may collect certain information in addition to information described elsewhere in this Policy. For example, we may collect information about the type of device and operating system you use. We may ask you if you want to receive push notifications about activity in your account. If you have opted in to these notifications and no longer want to receive them, you may turn them off through your operating system. We may ask for access or track location-based information from your mobile device after downloading or using our Mobile Apps or Services – we will always explicitly notify you to opt in to this feature.
We may use mobile analytics software to better understand how people use our application. We may collect information about how often you use the application and other performance data.
Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
Notice of a security breach
If a security breach causes an unauthorised intrusion into our system that materially affects your data, then we will notify you as soon as possible and later report the action we took in response.
Controlling your Personal Information
In conjunction with European legislation (General Data Protection Regulation) we will assume that you do not want to receive marketing communications from us unless you give us consent to do so. You can give consent by ticking the ‘opt-in’ tickbox on any form you may use to submit information to us.
If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for marketing communication purposes, you may change your mind at any time by unsubscribing or updating your preferences. You can do this by clicking the links at the bottom of every email we send you or emailing us at email@example.com.
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
If you contact us to ask for the personal data we store about you, we will acknowledge the request within 3 working days and resolve within a further 7 working days.
If you ask us to delete your data we will acknowledge your request within 3 working days and action your request within a further 7 working days.
